Aero Controls Timeline
Aero Controls has officially been approved as a cylinder re-qualification facility by the Department of Transportation (DOT), using the “hydrostatic” test method. This is to support capability development for slides, rafts, fire bottles, oxygen bottles, and other emergency equipment.
Aero Controls announces it has acquired ex-Blue Air 737-85F, MSN 28822 for disassembly.
Aero Controls expanded capabilities in ATA Chapter 35 to include the Flight Crew Mask Stowage Boxes and associated Flight Crew Masks-Regulators with more additions to come.
Aero Controls announces it has acquired an A321-131, MSN 614 for disassembly. The disassembly starts mid-June.
Aero Controls began the dismantlement of ex-Aruba Airlines A320 (MSN 582) on-site in Goodyear, AZ for spare parts.
Aero Controls began the dismantlement of ex-United Airlines 747-400 (MSN 34281) on-site in Victorville, CA for spare parts.
Aero Controls signed a long term repairs management and material provisioning agreement with Cargo Air, a Bulgarian airline dedicated to operating cargo flights for companies such as DHL/EAT, UPS Europe and ASL Airlines along with the ad hoc cargo charter flights worldwide. Aero Controls to provide component maintenance support for the Cargo Air fleet utilizing their existing MRO capabilities and drawing from the extensive inventory that Aero Controls holds and will be acquiring to support the fleet. This agreement covers various system platforms including pneumatics, hydraulics, avionics, flight control actuation, and flight surfaces for the Cargo Air 737 fleet.
Aero Controls began the dismantling of an ex-Thomas Cook Airlines A320 (MSN 561) on-site in Goodyear, AZ for spare parts.
Aero Controls began the dismantlement of ex-GOL Airlines Airlines B737-700 (MSN 30242) on-site in Marana, Arizona for spare parts.
Aero Controls continues the expansion of A320 family repair capabilities with dismantlement of an Airbus A320 aircraft (MSN 791) on-site in Goodyear, AZ.
Aero Controls began the dismantlement of an ex-United, Boeing 747-400 (MSN 25158) on-site in Victorville, CA to support spare part needs for customers.
Aero Controls began the dismantlement of an Airbus A320 aircraft (MSN 822) to support spare part needs for customers and further the expansion of the development of their A320 family repair capabilities.
Aero Controls has been awarded a consignment contract from an unnamed consignor of over 3500 units of 737NG components with an approximate fair market value of $20M.
Aero Controls dismantled an A320 (MSN 540) to support spare part needs for their customers. In addition, teardown was recently completed for a 737-700 (MSN 29961), while the dismantling of a 767-300ER (MSN24039) aircraft for teardown is underway.
Aero Controls, Inc. has finalized their Minority Owned Business re-certification by the Northwest Mountain Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC), strengthening their ability to serve the business needs and diversity goals of their clients.
Aero Controls, Inc. acquires assets of Skytronics, including test equipment, tooling, exchange pool rotables, and a large inventory of expendables. These assets primarily support ATA 27 transmission equipment for Boeing and Airbus aircraft.
Aero Controls, Inc. celebrates 30th anniversary of holding a certified repair station certificate based in Auburn, Washington.

Transferred operations of Aero Systems Aviation Corp. into newly formed Aero Controls Avionics, Inc.
Received 100,000th repair order courtesy of Southwest Airlines.
Received European JAA Acceptance
Aero Systems Aviation Corp. in Miami, Florida acquired as an affiliate of Aero Controls, Inc.
Aero Controls, Inc. was presented with the Federal Express Minority Supplier of the Year Award.
